About Quran Discipline

Who Built Quran Discipline?
Quran Discipline doesn’t have a team. I’m Pandu, and I built this whole thing by myself, squeezing it into my free time after my 9-to-5 and on weekends.
Why I Built This?
This product started out as an entry for a hackathon organized by Quran Foundation. After the online event ended, honestly, my original plan was to turn it into a paid SaaS, like most website blockers out there. Somewhere along the way, I changed my mind and decided to make the extension free. I just want as many people as possible to use it, especially Muslims. Later on, I’ll open-source the code, but I still need some time to tidy the project up first.
What I Believe In and Hope For?
Without really realizing it, I found myself feeling comfortable reading the Qur’an inside the very product I built. That’s why I believe, InsyaAllah, it can bring benefit to others too. My hope is that this app keeps spreading and helps more and more people. I also hope it can open up some connections that might lead to new opportunities for me down the road.
What’s Next
I’m planning to make this project open source.
